lady having lunch - hong kong
Hong Kong Luncheon

Looking out over the hot morass of shuffling humanity that is Mong Kok, a lady enjoys afternoon refreshments. I didn’t manage to catch her with wine glass in hand, but she certainly seemed to be a regular visitor to Hong Kong judging by her comfortable bearing and chatter with the eager staff.

I made this with a Nikon D5100 and 55-200mm telephoto lens. It was further processed in Photo Ninja and in Topaz Black and White in order to tease out the details and alter the difficult contrast of the original.

Haha @sufiah-yusof 🙂 She was certainly a grand old lady. Fit quite well into old Hong Kong.

Interesting photo, it tells us that she is comfortable sitting where she is (I would be peering out the window,) ; she has been there before, as you say. It appears she is with at least one other person, who has the best seat for observing the city. It is raining, which adds to the mystique. Gosh, I could make up a whole scenario for this lady… lol. (I am infamous for my wild imagination.)
